How it works

  1. 1

    Paste the video link

YouTube videos, Shorts and YouTube Music links, each up to 30 minutes. Up to 50 at once.

  2. 2

    LyricAI listens to the video

It uses the video’s own audio, so a live take stays a live take. The voice is separated from the instruments before anything is written down.

  3. 3

    Read, translate, download

Each line is translated with the whole song in mind, into any of 37 languages. Download LRC, SRT, TXT, Markdown or JSON.

What you get

  • Live takes, covers and TV versions

LyricAI listens to the recording itself, so it works on songs no lyrics site has.

  • 36 sung languages

The language is detected for you. A song that switches languages is handled part by part.

  • Every word and line timed

With Lyric timing on, the default, each word and line is matched to the moment it’s sung. Charged by the minute, even when lyrics are published.

  • Romanization, free

Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Thai sheets can add romaji, pinyin, Revised Romanization or Thai romanization under each line.

Questions

Anything else? Write to support@lyricai.io.

Which YouTube links work?

Videos, Shorts and YouTube Music links, each up to 30 minutes. For a video file on your device, export the audio first and upload it.

Does it use the video’s captions?

No. A YouTube video is always written down from its own audio, so the lyrics follow what’s sung in that video.

What does it cost?

1 credit is 1 minute of audio, rounded up per song: $0.050-0.080 a minute, depending on the bundle. Translating a song is 1 credit more. You see the price before you start, and a song that fails gives its credits back on its own. Your first song is free, up to 10 minutes. See Pricing.

Can I publish the lyrics?

LyricAI is for personal listening, study and accessibility. Publishing lyrics, or showing them as public subtitles, needs the rights holders’ permission. Upload only recordings you own or may use. LyricAI isn’t affiliated with Spotify or YouTube. See the Terms.
