Last updated: April 15, 2026

1. Service Description

LyricAI ("the Service") provides AI-powered music transcription and translation services. Users submit Spotify URLs, and our system processes the associated audio to generate text transcriptions and translations.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the Service to infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Commercially redistribute generated content without proper licensing
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse the Service
  • Use automated tools to excessively access the Service
  • Submit content that violates applicable laws

3. Credit Purchases & Refund Policy

Credits are purchased through Stripe and are used to process transcription and translation jobs. 1 credit equals 1 minute of audio processing.

  • Credits are non-refundable once used for processing
  • Unused credits may be refunded within 30 days of purchase
  • Credits never expire
  • Failed processing jobs are automatically refunded
  • Free lyrics sourced from public databases do not consume credits

4. Intellectual Property

LyricAI does not claim ownership of any transcribed or translated content. All music copyrights remain with their respective owners. The Service is provided for personal, educational, and accessibility purposes only. Commercial redistribution of generated content is prohibited.

5. Data Processing

Audio is processed in ephemeral server containers and destroyed immediately after processing. No raw audio is stored. Results are stored temporarily (up to 24 hours) and then automatically deleted.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. LyricAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the settings page.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws. You agree to attempt resolution through our support channels before pursuing formal proceedings.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on the Service.
